Delete your account & data
Shir-ly (the Shir-ly app on Google Play and shir-ly.com) lets you request deletion of your account and all personal data we hold about you. Use the form below, or email us directly — no account login required.
How to request deletion
- Enter the email address you used in the Shir-ly app.
- Optionally tell us why (this helps us improve).
- Press “Request deletion”.
- We verify the request and delete your data within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Deleted permanently: your email address, your name (if given), your language preference, and your learning progress / game results.
- Kept locally only: settings stored on your own device (niqqud, language). Clearing the app data or uninstalling removes them.
- Retained temporarily: anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you, and the deletion request itself, which we keep for up to 12 months as legal proof that we honoured your request.
