Shir-ly

Terms of Use

By using Shir-ly you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. The service

Shir-ly is an educational service that teaches Hebrew through Israeli songs: synced lyrics, transliteration, translation, artist background and vocabulary games. It is provided for personal, non-commercial learning.

2. Accounts and age

Some features ask for your email address. You must provide accurate details and keep your access credentials safe. If you are under 16, use the app with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Music, lyrics and copyright

Songs are played through the official embedded YouTube player; we do not host or distribute audio files. Lyrics, translations and transliterations are shown in short excerpts for study and commentary purposes. All rights in the songs, recordings and lyrics remain with their respective rights holders.

If you are a rights holder and believe content should be removed or credited differently, contact us and we will act promptly.

4. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, copy or resell the content, attempt to bypass access limits, upload unlawful material, or interfere with the service's operation or security.

5. Payments and cancellation

Where paid plans are offered, prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period; see the cancellation page. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights apply.

6. Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but do not warrant uninterrupted service or error-free content, including third-party video availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will change the date below when we do. Material changes will be highlighted in the app. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, with the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa having jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
