Biography
Dudi Levi is an Israeli singer, songwriter and guitarist. He composed the music for 'Dod' (דוד), setting the surreal love-lyrics of Meir Goldberg, and performs it himself; the arrangement is by Moshe Levi.
As a guitarist and musician, Levi has worked across the Israeli pop and rock scene for decades, both as a performing artist and behind the scenes as a writer and player for other singers.
'Dod' became his signature song as a performer, reaching no. 18 in the 2005 annual Israeli radio parade (the year-end chart voted by listeners).
His sound sits in the warm, melodic mainstream of 2000s Israeli pop — acoustic guitar-driven, romantic, with poetic and dreamlike lyrics.
