Biography
Omer Adam was born in Milwaukee in 1993 and moved to Israel as a child, growing up in Kiryat Ono.
He became famous as a teenager on the TV show 'Kochav Nolad' spin-off appearances, and released his first album at 16 — one of the youngest Israeli singers ever to top the charts.
Adam became the biggest concert draw in Israel, selling out stadiums and arenas, and helped move Mizrahi pop from the margins to the absolute mainstream of Israeli music.
His songs mix Middle Eastern melody lines with contemporary pop production and very colloquial Hebrew, which is why they travel so well with young audiences in Israel and abroad.
