Odia, Israeli singer-songwriter

Biography

Odia (Odia Azoulai, b. 2000) is one of Israel's most streamed pop singers of the 2020s. She rose from online covers to stadium-level fame, known for blending Mediterranean pop with sharp, slang-heavy Hebrew lyrics.

Her breakout singles — 'Rabanit,' 'La'at La'at,' and 'Ohavet Otach BeTaut' — turned her into a voice for a generation of young Israeli women: confident, funny, and unafraid to mix vulnerability with attitude.

Odia writes much of her own material, collaborating with producers like Ofir Malol. Her 'HaChalalit' project bundled several hits into a conceptual release, cementing her as an album-artist in a singles-driven market.

Her lyrics are a living lexicon of contemporary Hebrew slang — מאמי, זבל, רבנית — making her songs especially rich for learners who want to speak like Israelis actually speak today.
